LIDE Angola officially launched in Luanda

The Angola–Brazil Agribusiness Forum marked the official launch of LIDE Angola, attended by ministers, investors and business leaders from both countries.

The Angola–Brazil Agribusiness Forum, held on 12 August 2026 in Luanda, marked the official launch of LIDE Angola. The meeting drew more than 1,300 registrations and over 700 in-person participants, among them officials, business leaders, investors and representatives from both countries.

“This is not merely a business event. It is the beginning of a permanent platform for dialogue, cooperation and investment promotion between Angola, Brazil and the major international markets,” said Venceslau Andrade, president of the unit.

Attendees included the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Isaac Maria dos Anjos, the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, LIDE founder João Doria, and former Brazilian minister Kátia Abreu.
